This is California, the Golden State. It's a beautiful state, but there are a lot of nutty liberals who like to ruin things for freedom loving Californians. Escondido is north of San Diego and it's not too close to Anaheim. This picture of California isn't very accurate because it was created by a graphic design company to illustrate the major California attractions. While the postcard does illustrate numerous California destinations, it still leaves off thousands of spectacular attractions that draw people from around the world to visit this state.

Here is the hidden city called Escondido. It's an old city in California years. Palamor Hosital is the big building that stands out in the picture. Escondido is surrounded by hills that are covered in Avocado and Citrus groves. This past is dying because of the value of land, but many people still have orange and avocado trees. The city streets are named after many different types of trees. Valley Center lies behind the mountains you see in the back. Palamar Mountatain lies way in the back. Ramona is another city that's way past Escondido.

Here's a closer view of Escondido city. Once again, Palamar hospital stands out in the center of the picture. This view is of commerical and residential buildings. I live close to Palamar hospital. If you take the road on the right called Grand Avenue, you'll be near to my home.

This is the Escondido Performing Arts building. It's located next to the City Council and other Escondido government buildings. It looks very nice, but loses money because government never understands how to make money. If Escondido sold or leased the performing arts building to private enterprise, it would be far more successful.

This is an older picture of North County Mall. It's located right next to Interstate 15 and Via Rancho Parkway. Via Rancho becomes Bear Valley Parkway. This road will take you to Valley Center and the back portion of Escondido. There are lots of schools on this road too: LR Green Elementary, San Pasqual High School, Bear Valley Middle School, and Orange Glen High School. Kit Carson Park is also behind this mall. This park is awesome because it has plenty of grass, running trails, playgrounds, ponds, a creek, and a mosaic garden. And the most glorious aspect of the park is the admission price: it's free! Too many public parks cost money, but not this one.

Lawrence Welk was a musician that many Americans love and respect. This resort is beautiful and caters to senior citizens. It offers some theatrical shows throughout the year. It's a beautiful location that is nested in a hillside on the outskirts of Escondido and the city of Valley Center. .It's located near Interstate 15 and Gopher Canyon Road.

Rancho Bernardo is the city next to Escondido's southern border. It's a growing city that once catered to senior citizens and retirement communities. It has lush and green golf courses everywhere. It's located off of Interstate 15 too.
